You are also welcome to explore the collection at your own pace with our Self-guided Freedom of Dublin.

The Freedom of Dublin Tour is led by one of our brilliant guides, who bring the story of the city to life through objects, stories, conversation and good humour.

Our guided tours are interactive, lively and fast-paced.
Guests who have sensory sensitivities, or who prefer a calmer museum experience, may prefer a self-guided visit on Wednesday morning. This can be a good option for visitors who are sensitive to lights, noise, crowds, rapid conversation, or busy group settings.
