You Can Leave At Any Time

As a young woman, Mary Merritt spent 14 years in High Park Magdalene laundry. In this remarkable new installation, Mary remembers her time in the laundry and her search for justice ever since.

Produced for the Dublin Theatre Festival, You Can Leave At Any Time is a powerful indictment of Official Ireland and a moving piece of social history, but it’s also an inspirational piece of story-telling.

Presented for an audience of one, with a running time of fifteen minutes, this installation is bound to sell out. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Sunday September 29th - Saturday October 5th: 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm. Tickets €10.

Please note: the museum is not universally accessible and this installation is on the top floor of the building. It can only be seen by one person at a time, and is not suitable for anyone who is claustrophobic. Over 18s only.
