The Complete Kids' History of Dublin
Discover the gruesome and exciting history of your capital on a tour specially designed for children aged 7-12. This one-hour masterclass introduces kids to the history of Dublin and the idea of civic pride.
Kids! You will be delighted. You will be horrified. You will discover the story of the Vikings (they didn't wash very often). You will meet the Normans. You will laugh your head off. And finally, you will be proud to live in Dublin!
Featuring ducks, amazing grip tests, a drawing competition, a Treasure Hunt and a train that thinks it's a cat, this interactive kids' tour is a wonderful way for leaders of the future to learn about their city.
Hosted by artist and teacher Fergal McCarthy, the Complete Kids' History of Dublin is at 11.45am on Saturday April 21st. To book tickets (€8), click here.
Please note: adults are not expected to stay for the duration of the class. If you want to go on a guided tour of the museum while your children are in their class, please buy a family ticket.
