Don't miss our new exhibition in The Ireland Funds Gallery on the ground floor of the museum. Produced in conjunction with the Guinness Archive, the show explores the experiences of Guinness staff on the front in World War One. Featuring dozens of artefacts, the exhibition documents some of the difficulties faced by the company to remain trading during the war, the sacrifices made by the company and its employees, alongside the personal testimonies of staff. The exhibition opens mid-February and runs until the end of March.
Incidentally, we have some brilliant shows lined up for 2015, including exhibitions on Lafcadio Hearn, Christy Brown and costumes in Irish cinema. Watch this space!
